【大友月湖】 熊代熊斐門下の長崎派（南蘋派）の絵師。 「沈清」「沈月湖」とも名乗り、沈南蘋の画風を受け継ぐ絵師という意識をもっていたのは確かだが、伝記は不明な部分が多い。 熊斐に南蘋風を学んだのち、安永4年（1775）、天明2年（1782）頃には京都で活躍。 天明4年に弟子の三熊花てん(真＋頁)とともに長崎へ戻る。 その後の動静については不詳。花鳥走獣画を得意とした。 Painter of the Nagasaki school (Nanpohin school) under Kumashiro Yuhi(熊代熊斐). Although it is clear that he was aware that he was a painter who inherited the style of Shin Nan-ping(沈南蘋),his biography is unclear in many areas. After studying Nampin style under Yuhi, he was active in Kyoto around 1775 and 1782. He returned to Nagasaki with his pupil Mikuma Katen in 1776. His movements after that are unknown. He specialized in flower, bird, and beast paintings. |
